Where to Go After Breaking Three Hours in the Marathon?

The story about my new and improved professional training regiment.

9th of April, 2025

Moinsen, everyone! 👋

It has been a while since I last wrote to you all. That hasn’t stopped new people from signing up – welcome to you all!

With this newsletter I’m mostly telling you about my new and huge blog post about the professional training block I have just completed a few weeks ago, led by none other than Martin Grüning – editor-in-chief of Runner’s World Magazine, Germany, and a former 2:13:30 marathoner. He’s the real deal and I was lucky that he took on the challenge to help such an untalented person as me reach new heights.

I have learned so much and as you’re familiar, I’m always happy to share all of that so you can learn from it, too.

Get ready to dive into a comprehensive and extensive post. It’ll take some time to read, so be aware that the podcast edition is also always an option. Coming in at just over an hour of playtime. It’s available everywhere, here’s the list.

I’m proud of the post. Let me know your thoughts in the comments or by replying to this email or on social media, it doesn’t matter. I’m keen to hear from you.

Other than that, in the past few months I have done a lot of coding on my side project www.speechbox.chat – the free realtime chat plugin for personal and professional websites, which has been lots of fun. And I also added a few newly finished books to my bookshelf section on the website. Those are:

Take a look at the links to see my thoughts and if the books are something for you as well.

Other than that, preparations for the upcoming BremenSanktPauli Ultra on June 7th are going into the last rounds. If you’re looking for a fun little race of 50k, 100k, or 100 mile distance, we still have some slots. The team and I are happy about a full field of runners! Right now, we’re in the range of 80 participants of the 100 limit, so it’s a cozy event and I look forward to it very much.

Also, springtime is here, yay! Finally some warmer days. Tomorrow I’ll fly down to Florence, Italy to run my own first ultra marathon of the year, the Tuscany Crossing 103K. My next blog post will most certainly be about that experience.

I hope you all have a great day – take care and all the best,
– Teesche
